Irv Gilner

Prior to joining Transwestern, Irv spent several years at Cushman & Wakefield focusing on tenant and corporate representation. He has represented real estate portfolios from local to global levels during his twenty-year real estate career. Irv has provided analysis and expertise to numerous international corporations to provide global reach for US based real estate executives as well as national perspective for foreign based executives. His experience includes lease administration implementation, sustainability analysis, maintenance program development and implementation, and corporate level design and operation standardization. In Addition, Irv has helped evaluate the effectiveness of all levels of facilities and established a strategy to measure and improve performance at all levels of operation, energy consumption, utilization of space, and optimizing property maintenance through benchmarking and portfolio analysis. Irv has extensive experience aligning real estate needs with business objectives providing both short-term benefits and long-term flexibility. Through project experience, he has first-hand understanding of many unique facilities requirements in all types of commercial real estate including retail, industrial, office and special use facilities. Irv has also achieved successes for many clients though the assembly and coordination of project teams across the country to execute financial and operational strategies. He is also experienced in coordinating multiple market transactions involving simultaneous acquisitions and dispositions and their resulting impact revenue generation and expenses to drive improvement in ROA.
