Ira Sherman

Ira A. Sherman, a senior managing director, has been with Greiner-Maltz since 1988. Prior to coming on board he focused his business energies at the corporate level, most notably, 14 years at CBS, where he held a number of executive management positions of increasing responsibility in its CRU and CRI divisions. He was responsible for the overall marketing of US developed product on a worldwide level. His areas of specialty were product management, marketing and development with expertise in market planning, advertising, creative services and finance. His proactive creative solution orientation brought success to a wide range of CBS products in the United States and abroad. Since joining Greiner-Maltz, Mr. Sherman has concentrated his efforts upon the commercial, industrial and retail real estate sectors. As a broker, he has consummated a wide spectrum of sales and leasing transactions and has directed the marketing on a diverse array of product and projects. His most recent endeavors focused upon the corporate, corporate industrial, medical, and medical retail areas, where productive results were brought to such clients as Verizon Communications, Inc., Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., and Stroheim & Romann, Inc. Mr. Sherman has completed transactional efforts on a corporate customer/client base including: The Daily News; Citibank; North Fork Bank; ABN-AMRO Holding N.V.; Apple Bank; Nations Bank; Matsil Brothers; Martin Marietta; G.E. Aerospace; Wells Fargo; The New York State Department of Transportation; The Italian Trade Commission, Aceto Corp.; Champion Locksmith, Inc.; The Education and Assistance Corporation; Guardian Life Insurance; Berlitz; Tolman Hundley Tours, Inc. and Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers.
