ABOUT

Ian became familiar with the real estate industry at a young age as he listened in on his father’s phone calls to and from lacrosse practice in high school. He started to shadow his father and helped him in marketing efforts while studying for the California Real Estate Salesperson Licensing Exam, which he passed at the age of 19. Ian assisted his father in databasing, implementing marketing campaigns, and reviewing contracts throughout college until he joined The Zehner Davenport Industrial Group as an intern in Voit’s Irvine office for his senior year at California State University, Fullerton. He employed in-depth market research through a variety of online platforms, analyzed industrial sale and lease comparables for database administration, and assisted in contacting the team’s clients about their real estate requirements. Today, Ian works with Juan Gutierrez and Shy Assar in Voit’s Ontario office where he specializes in industrial property in the Inland Empire. Ian studied finance and real estate at California State University, Fullerton’s Mihaylo School of Business & Economics. He earned his B.A. in Business Administration, emphasis in Finance, and was affiliated with the CSUF Real Estate Association throughout his time there. Ian also qualified for the Dean’s List multiple times along with being a part of The University Honors Program. His senior year, he wrote an undergraduate thesis for The University Honors Program titled Industrial Real Estate Markets and The Expansion of E-Commerce. Ian helped raise over $4,000 in ticket sales and donations in November of 2018 during a Monte Carlo casino night for The Painted Turtle philanthropy. This money was used send children with serious illnesses to SeriousFun Camps where they can get away from the fear of their medical conditions and enjoy just being a kid.
