Haroon is a retail strategist with a thorough understanding of value creation for both landlords and developers completing transactions involving investment/income producing properties, land development transactions and acquisition and/or disposition assignments. Haroon has a keen understanding of increasing both cash-flow and asset value for his clients and has the ability to identify value-add opportunities and exhausted income producing properties that have the potential to be re-positioned for landlords, developers and off-shore investors. He puts forth more than 16 years of business leadership experience and sustained performance across industries such as sales, hospitality and marketing. One of Haroon’s most notable skills is his depth of knowledge working not just on the formation of retail strategies – but the implementation and execution of those strategies. This skill has resulted in him aiding new and established retail chains, national tenants and QSR’s rolling out their network of stores and outlets throughout Canada on a multi-provincial landscape executing transactions not only in Ontario, but as far as Alberta. Some of the companies that Haroon has worked with include Trez Capital, Triovest, Partners REIT, First Capital Realty, Riocan, Crombie REIT, Morguard, One REIT, Tim Horton’s, McDonald’s Canada, Popeye’s Chicken, Pizza Hut, Smart Stop, Norstar Group, Habiba, Westdell Corp., TACC and many more. Haroon also works with private equity funds and off-shore investors from the US, UK, Germany, UAE, MENA Region and South East Asia, who are looking to place funds in the Canadian investment landscape and provides invaluable guidance for his clients. Haroon has completed a BA degree from York University with an emphasis on Real Estate and is fluent in German, Farsi and English. Haroon is passionate about charity and over the years has supported several charitable organizations and has contributed to scholarship funds in the GTA.
