After graduating from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Business Administration in 2011, J. Hardtner Klumpp returned to his hometown of Lake Charles, LA and teamed up with Allen Singletary to pursue a full-time career in commercial real estate. For his short time in the industry, he has successfully brokered over $25 million in commercial real estate transactions. While he is knowledgeable in all areas of the industry, his focus is on every aspect of retail commercial real estate from landlord and tenant representation for local, regional, and national clients to the strategic acquisition and disposition of investment grade retail shopping centers. Clients represented include: Sherwin-Williams, T-Mobile, Wal-Mart, Roly Poly, The Lacassane Company, Racetrac Convenience Store, Gifts and Grinds, Jimmy John’s, Dairy Barn, 121 Artisan Bistro, and Heartland Dental. J. Hardtner Klumpp was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designation by the CCIM Institute in 2016 which recognizes him as a leading expert in commercial investment real estate. In addition, he is an active member of The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the National Association of Realtors, The Southwest Louisiana Economic Development Alliance, and the SWLA Chamber Quality of Life Task Force. He is very active in his community serving as the past president of The Greater Lake Charles Rotary Club in 2015-2016. He also serves as a Board Member for the Imperial Calcasieu Museum, Better Business Bureau Foundation, and SOWELA Foundation.
