Hamilton specializes in the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties and in tenant and landlord representation. He focuses on identifying investment opportunities and site selection across a wide range of asset classes. Additionally, he advises private clients, regional, and national firms in selling, acquiring, and identifying land development opportunities for a variety of uses, including industrial, retail, mixed-use, residential, and multifamily. Prior to joining Range Commercial Partners, Hamilton worked at two international commercial real estate firms. His experience includes representing a publicly traded retailer on the national level as their master broker, structuring development deals in Richmond, Virginia, and handling dozens of sales and leasing transactions. Hamilton’s career began in San Diego, where he provided value to a top producing multifamily investment sales team as a financial analyst and researcher. He gained significant exposure working alongside a team that specialized in the selling of multifamily apartment buildings in San Diego County, as well as facilitating clients’ 1031 exchanges into like-kind properties, such as apartments, retail, and mobile home properties. Additionally, he was involved in the process of assembling blocks of real estate for development and providing valuations for properties both nationally and across Southern California. A graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and business and is an active member in the VMI Club of Richmond. Hamilton’s ability to deliver results stems from his creativity in assessing opportunities, analytic approach, prompt communication, and deep knowledge of the local landscape. A third-generation real estate professional and Richmond native, Hamilton lives in the City of Richmond with his fiancé and their Vizsla named Archie.
