Gilbert Trout
Director of Investment Real Estate
Gilbert focuses on helping investors and developers strategically grow their commercial real estate investment holdings. He acts as an advisor to both global and regional family offices, private investors, equity funds and public REITs. Prior to joining TD&A, Gilbert was a technologist at Dell and Harvard University. Gilbert’s background in data and ecommerce have been essential tools to sourcing off-market investment opportunities for both investors and corporations. Complementing his work in real estate, Gilbert is an advisor to both VC firms considering investing in proptech as well as international proptech startups seeking a foothold in US markets. Gilbert grew up in Cambridge, MA and has received multiple awards, scholarships and performed globally as an conductor, composer and orchestral performer. He is a board member of LifeBridge Health’s Levindale Hospital and on the President’s Board of Stevenson University. He was a volunteer EMT with Hatzalah of Baltimore, and is a Mentor for ICSC.
