Gil Nuss

Gil began his career with Investar in 2019 in Houston. After spending time on SVN’s Institutional Capital Markets desk, Gil returns to Investar to lead the charge to grow the presence in Central Texas. Gil’s extensive experience among a variety of asset classes gives him the ability to help his clients with acquisitions and dispositions along with deal financing. In addition to the sales side, Gil also has considerable experience on the project leasing and occupier solutions side working with both landlords and tenants. Before Investar, Gil worked as a Financial Analyst for Weatherby Consulting focusing on financial workouts and due diligence in the mergers & acquisitions and consulting in the resort development industry. Previously, Gil worked for PM Realty Group in Houston engaging in Market Research in Class A Office Buildings in Houston. Gil has a degree in Finance with a focus in Real Estate from the University of Alabama where he was a member of the Culverhouse Real Estate Club and the Order of Alpha Greek Academic Honor Society. While at school, Gil worked for the Director of Football Operations for the University of Alabama’s Football Program.
