Gere Ricker

Gere Ricker has been with MB Real Estate since 1998, and provides the firm 25 years of multidisciplinary real estate experience. Throughout his career he has provided corporate tenants and commercial property owners with brokerage, management and advisory services in order to maximize returns on investment and mitigate cost impacts. Mr. Ricker has successfully concluded numerous and varied commercial real estate transactions on behalf of clients that have included Mass Mutual Life Insurance, BPG Properties, Emigrant Bank and GE Asset Management. Currently he provides strategic advisory and brokerage services to Emigrant Bank and affiliates for their entire portfolio of more the 75 leased and owned properties throughout the Country. In this capacity Mr. Ricker is responsible for sourcing and financial analysis of all anticipated real estate transactions, including leases, acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Ricker also provides consulting services on development projects to MB Real Estate’s institutional and private investor clients. Services provided have included market analysis and feasibility, as well as assistance in formulation of design criteria and marketing strategy. A notable project, with which he was involved, was the $400 million Trump Park Avenue condominium tower, developed in partnership with GE Asset Management and Donald Trump. Prior to joining MB Real Estate, Mr. Ricker was responsible for leasing and property management duties for the Safra National Bank Headquarters Building at 546 Fifth Avenue in New York City. He was instrumental in the implementation of marketing efforts, lease negotiations, budgeting and oversight of construction for tenant installations and capital improvements. He is a graduate of Kenyon College and earned a Master’s degree in Real Estate Investment & Development from New York University - Real Estate Institute. Mr. Ricker is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of New York and a member of the Real Estate Board of New York since 1994. He also currently holds a Captain’s License issued by the United States Coast Guard.
