Gerry Kramer received his Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 1974. He decided to return to his hometown of Port Huron to pursue a career in real estate. He apprenticed under a very successful broker for 4 years. In 1978, he established Kramer Commercial Realty, Inc. It was a bold decision to exclusively dedicate his new business to commercial and industrial real estate; being the only real estate firm to do so in all of St. Clair County. He focused on building relationships with clients, colleagues and the community. Gerry had found his true passion and knew education would be the key to his continued success. He obtained his builders license and kept moving forward by pursuing professional designations such as; S.I.O.R. (Specialist Industrial Office Real Estate), G.R.I. (Graduate Realtors Institute, University of Michigan), and R.A.M. (Real Estate Alumnus of Michigan). He graduated from and instructed numerous Sales and Human Relations Courses for the Dale Carnegie Institute. The S.I.O.R. designation was awarded to him in 1987 after he met rigorous requirements based on his sales and leasing in the commercial real estate industry, professional and educational background and adherence to ethical standards.
