Gary has spent the majority of his professional career working in real estate. After earning degrees in both Political Science and Economics at Clemson, he spent a brief period in Eastern Europe serving with a global NGO, but ever since then, he has been in real estate. Before joining KDS, he served as a Project Manager, Marketing Director and Senior Vice President with an international development firm and a regional redevelopment group. In 2016, he came on board with KDS as an Advisor and is currently pursuing his CCIM designation. In his role, Gary gets to use his professional experience and native knowledge of Greenville to represent all sides of transactions across all asset classes. His deep understanding and vast knowledge of the local market paired with his attention to detail and commitment to exceeding client expectations make Gary an Advisor clients can trust with full confidence- whether buyers or sellers, landlords or tenants. Gary primarily focuses on the industrial sector and serves all businesses ranging from local, family-owned companies to large corporations. No matter how complex the transaction or how many people are involved in making the decisions involving real estate, Gary takes great care to bring the same level of professionalism and patience to every client relationship as they navigate repositioning and liquidating assets. He is passionate about advising Upstate families and helping them steward their legacies well over time- always making sure their specific and individual needs are met. As a Greenville native, Gary enjoys playing an active role in the community by volunteering with Homes of Hope and Fostering Great Ideas. In 2018, Gary was appointed by South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster to serve on Greenville County’s Foster Care Review Board. In his free time, Gary, his wife, and three children enjoy hiking, camping and spending time with friends. They are also active members of Downtown Presbyterian Church in Greenville. Gary is excited and optimistic about South Carolina’s future. From Boeing to BMW and everything in between, he knows the Upstate continues to provide a strong, welcoming industrial climate and will continue to see it’s share of healthy migration from all parts of the country. Gary looks forward to being a part of serving upstate businesses well for years to come.
