Mr. Chou has a long list of clients including some of the world’s largest corporate companies, public & private REITs, private equity funds, franchisee operators and high net-worth individuals. In addition to standard Net Lease Transactions, Gary is a national authority on utilizing Sale-Leasebacks as a financial instrument to maximize the accounting benefits and business goals of his clients. His vast knowledge and deep industry relationships have allowed him to strategically advise clients and help them make sound and educated real estate and financial decisions. Mr. Chou is an active panelist, speaker, columnist on the national net lease investment sales market. He is the recipient of numerous industry awards and accolades, including being named a Top US Retail Sales Broker and Retail Influencer by Real Estate Forum. At his prior company, Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, Mr. Chou was named Top Producer for 3 consecutive years and was a perennial top 5 agent. Gary graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He was also a Regents Scholar and Dean’s Scholar. Prior to becoming partner at BCA, Gary was a partner and founder at Matthews Real Estate Investment Services and was a senior leader of the #1 ranked retail brokerage team at Colliers International.
