Being a great communicator is Evan’s #1 goal (in life, and) in business. Every day, he quarterbacks a high-quality team of professionals, including colleagues, broker partners, contractors, architects, and other talented service providers and leverages their unique skill sets to deliver outstanding results in every aspect of commercial real estate. Evan is a “first one in, last one out” kind of guy who takes great pride in his significant role at Pacific NW Properties, which includes company vision and leadership, as well as overseeing all leasing, project acquisitions and marketing of the company. In addition, he is heavily involved with new project development and tenant improvements (TI). Beyond his day-to-day responsibilities, Evan volunteers his time with numerous charitable organizations and sits on several boards, including an executive role on the NAIOP Oregon Chapter Developers Board. Prior to his transition to the ownership side of the business, Evan was an accomplished industrial broker who earned the SIOR “Industrial Deal of the Year” award in both 2008 and 2010, as well as the prestigious Commercial Association of Brokers (CAB) “Bill Naito Award” in 2012, presented to the broker in Portland/SW Washington who closed the most complex transaction of the year. In 2017, Evan was honored with Portland Business Journal’s coveted “Forty Under 40” top business executives honor, which is based on career, influence, leadership, and community involvement, and in 2019, he was recognized nationally, as one of the most influential commercial real estate executives in the entire country by both the Portland and National Business Journals. A former successful radio show host who once proposed to Beyoncé on air (she said no by the way), Evan loves to work hard and have fun. He lives in Portland with his wonderful wife and two kids.
