Eric has the ability to build strong coalitions across public and private sectors. He has managed two Non-Profit Organization mergers, managed two incubator programs, developed and managed two targeted industry cluster development strategies - the first focused on rail service capabilities and the other aerospace and aviation. Eric launched two international business development programs, started two state of Illinois funded business development programs (an Entrepreneurship Center and an International Trade Center), and ran a NFP land-holding / development company, where he closed out a 150+ acre development and launched a 350-acre business park. Eric has managed two business retention programs (one focused on large businesses and the other on small businesses) developed a diverse array of marketing programs focusing on development opportunities: a) at Airports, b) near major Rail-heads, c) near Interstate access points, d) in downtown Central Business District areas, f) tied to export growth/international trade and e) due to proximity of tier one communities. Eric lead the formation of two logistics services business units 1) Third-Party Logistics and 2) Rail.
