The Northern Neck has always been my home. I grew up in an early home on the banks of the Rappahannock River. As a high school student, I spent my summers working at a nearby resort, The Tides Inn, where I discovered that visitors were charmed by the great hospitality and warmth of Northern Neck residents and enchanted by the rural waterfront setting. The path to my present position in real estate, working as a carpenter for a local building contractor, on the water as a crab-potter, and operating my own venture, an herb farm and shop, provided an opportunity to form a special bond with the people, land, and waters of the Northern Neck. I have translated my relationships and experiences into a gratifying career in marketing local properties to prospective purchasers, many unfamiliar with this area. Since 1992, real estate has been a full-time occupation. As soon as I was eligible, I met the requirements and received my broker's license. I have served on the Board of Directors as a member of the Chesapeake Bay and Rivers Association of Realtors and the Northern Neck Association of Realtors. Many qualities and skills go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills, and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of my work. In my experience as a Chesapeake Bay country Realtor, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener and communicator, and responding quickly to your needs. This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach, and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I have found that the latest technologies enable me to do everything I've always done much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
