Emil Gurfinkel is an Associate at CBRE, West LA Office. Emil focuses his efforts on new business development in the company’s Retail Investment Sales Division. Since he began his career in investment real estate, Emil has quickly cultivated many relationships and has earned a loyal following among various real estate professionals, developers and investors. Emil’s scope of advisory services include portfolio diversification, acquisition of non-performing debt, 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, asset re-positioning, preservation and creation of wealth. Prior to joining CBRE, Emil served as VP of Acquisitions for a privately-held, Los Angeles based real estate investment firm, Brookfield Partners. This asset portfolio was in excess of $450 million. Working as a principal, Mr. Gurfinkel became proficient at underwriting and sourcing commercial deals. This position established a strong fundamental background, which he leveraged into investment brokerage.
