Elliot Schechter is the broker of record for Palisade Partners. He has extensive experience in real estate and financial transactions. He is a Certified Public Accountant with a concentration in taxation. Elliot’s background includes that of an acquisition analyst for a real estate fund that acquired apartment building complexes and shopping centers in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He was also a market maker of derivatives on equities on the American Stock Exchange floor. Utilizing his extensive knowledge of real estate, finance, accounting and taxation, he has counseled buyers and sellers, taking into consideration his clients’ needs and clarifying their options as to financial structure and tax liability. In addition to market rate housing, he has been involved in affordable housing transactions with a focus on low income housing tax credits.
