Eddie Buxton

J. Edward Buxton, CCIM joined Palmetto Commercial Properties in 2003. Buxton specializes in commercial office, retail, industrial, and investment properties. He offers clients expansive knowledge of the challenges and intricacies of leasing. Under the tutelage of Palmetto Commercial Properties founding partners, he gained extensive knowledge in sales, leasing, investment, and development. Over the last decade he has completed over 250 commercial and industrial sales and leases carrying individual values in excess of $11.0 million. Buxton is a Charleston native who graduated from Porter-Gaud School in 1985 and holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of South Carolina. Prior to joining Palmetto Commercial Properties he had a 12-year career at General Engineering Laboratories, Inc. which provided support for development of coastal land areas in cooperation with national and federal governmental agencies such as the US Army Corps of Engineers. Buxton recognized the opportunity to join Palmetto Commercial Properties and has used his experiences to develop a successful career in commercial real estate. In recent years, Buxton has been the recipient of the CoStar Power Broker award for both 2011 and 2012.
