Dr. Aaron Carroll grew up in Tallahassee, where he graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. After working in the computer field for the Florida State Supreme Court for several years, he decided to switch careers and become a dentist. Dr. Carroll received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Florida and graduated magna cum laude. He completed his postdoctoral master’s degree and orthodontic training at the University of Florida as well. Dr. Carroll is an active member of the local dental societies and is the past president of the Charlotte County Dental Society. He frequently attends continuing education courses in order to remain up to date on the latest advances in orthodontics and dentistry. He also regularly presents at seminars on modern orthodontic techniques for local dentists and their staff. As a dental student and orthodontic resident, Dr. Carroll received numerous honors, including awards for outstanding achievement in dentistry, orthodontic clinical achievement, advanced education honors in orthodontics and research excellence in orthodontics, as well as acceptance into the Pierre Fauchard International Dental Honors Society. Soon after meeting during their residency at the University of Florida, Dr. Carroll and Dr. Sutton became great friends. Once they decided to practice orthodontics together, they realized Sarasota County would be the ideal place to practice and raise their families.
