Don Cate

Having attended Sanderson High School and NC State University, Don knows Raleigh well. His career began in business communication and healthcare software before joining Mikels & Jones Properties as a broker, marking his entry into commercial real estate. A partner at Insight Property Group, his focus has been on tenant representation in the RTP area, where he has achieved Millionaire’s Club status. Don has served as landlord representative for many local building owners, handling all of their marketing, sales, and leasing activity, and he has successfully relocated the corporate headquarters of regional, national, and Fortune 500 employers to Raleigh and the surrounding area. Furthermore, his experience in healthcare software provides him with a unique understanding of the needs of medical and dental offices. As a result of his valuable experience, Don has been engaged by numerous professional offices to assist them in start up, expansion, and relocation efforts. Don is a member of the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR). He has served on the Board of the Rex Classic Foundation for Breast Cancer, has been involved with a number of local fundraising and charity events, and has begun focused contributions to the NC Alzheimer’s Association to assist in the detection and advancement of treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.
