Diron is a Danville, Va. native who was educated in Danville Public Schools. After graduating from George Washington High School, he obtained an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Danville Community College, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Averett University and then a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Averett University. Diron has been a full time Realtor since 2009 at Wilkins & Co. Realtors in Danville where he is now the Vice President of the company. He has been Rookie of the Year, Realtor of the Year (twice), served on the Board of Directors, held every office including serving as the President in 2019 all within the Dan River Region Association of Realtors (DRRAR). Diron is a leading producer and one of the top Realtors in his market specializing in marketing residential, farmland and commercial real estate as one of the region’s top listing agents. He is licensed in both Virginia and North Carolina. Diron is the owner and founder of Clements Forestry & Land Management. He started this company after buying a forestry mulcher to clean up around one of his farms. After years of seeing clients struggle to find a company to have their properties cleared, pines thinned, trails cut or just maintained and not having an option for smaller jobs he decided to hire a few people to run his equipment full time. Now, his crew runs a skid steer, forestry mulcher, several large tractors, excavator, and several other pieces of heavy equipment daily depending on the current job. He continues to expand his forestry equipment and heavy equipment fleet to help the public get their real estate ready to market and help new landowners achieve their goals post purchase. This business has allowed Diron to offer another service to the public to help people maintain their land, be able to market their property in their best light or simply enjoy their investment without having to do the work themselves or invest in lots of expensive equipment that they may only use for the one task. Diron also owns and operates Clements Quarter Horses where he specializes in training and selling champion barrel racing horses. With over 35 years’ experience in the equine industry, he is a nationally ranked and known competitor competing at the highest levels of barrel racing events. He is an active member of the Barrel Futurities of America (BFA), National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA) and the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA). He has local, state, national and world championships under his belt while continuing to compete in barrel racing events nationally. Diron and Justine live on their horse farm outside the city limits of Danville in Pittsylvania County. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and fishing with his twin sons Riley & Cole. He loves planting, maintaining, and creating food sources as well as habitat for the deer, turkey, and ducks on several of his farms and duck impoundments in both Virginia and North Carolina. He serves on several local boards including the Danville Regional Foundation, Bellevue, and is the “Lead Independent Director” on the Movement Bank Board of Directors. He is the 2025 Treasurer of the Virginia Association of Realtors (VAR).
