Devin Tessmer

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Devin has an imbedded knowledge of the market. At a young age, and while working for the family business, he was attracted to the real estate industry. While pursuing a finance degree from UW-Whitewater, he interned with a local development firm. After graduating he worked in property management and transitioned into brokerage for another Milwaukee-based commercial real estate firm where he focused on retail, while also assisting with office and industrial transactions. Devin joined CBRE’s Milwaukee office in 2017 and brings more than seven years’ experience in retail, providing in depth insights into the market for his clients. He is responsible for local, regional and national tenant and landlord representation of retail properties within Wisconsin. He represents both buyers and sellers of retail assets, as well as conducts work with developers for various developments across the area. Additionally, Devin assists his clients with site selection, market tours and lease negotiations throughout Wisconsin and is also an integral part of the retail team’s new business development. Devin works with his clients to identify their goals and negotiate the most favorable terms. He is well versed in negotiating many facets of a transaction supported by his experience representing both sides of a transaction.
