Derik Benson

Derik Benson has approximately 29 years of real estate industry experience as a broker. With his extensive experience representing tenants, landlords, buyers and sellers, he has a thorough understanding of all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. In his real estate advisory practice, Derik’s focus is on guiding companies and organizations to fully informed and effective real estate decisions. Derik started at BT Commercial and earned his way to being a partner. BT Commercial, through mergers and acquisitions, evolved into Cushman & Wakefield where he was a managing director. In January 2019, Derik moved to Kidder Mathews as a new shareholder of the company. Derik has completed over 1,000 deals totaling more than 9,000,000 square feet with an emphasis on building sales. Derik has been instrumental on the successful completion of over 350 sale transactions in his career. Since 2018, Derik has completed 93 sales for over $300,000,000.
