Derek Brazeau

Derek Brazeau joined Hayes & Sherry Real Estate Services in 2019 as a commercial real estate broker. He has been involved in investment sales representing clients on both the buying and selling sides of the transaction. Due to his experience and roles in the industry, Derek has joined Hayes & Sherry to lead the multifamily division and will be responsible for leading the Multifamily investment sales division; focusing on apartment buildings in the Rhode Island market and surrounding areas. Prior to joining Hayes & Sherry, Derek spent 5 years working with a local full-scale real estate investment firm engaging in Management, Development, Acquisitions & Holdings throughout Rhode Island, and Southeastern Massachusetts. He had a variety of roles within the organization, including sales, leasing, property management and, project management both in the residential and commercial sectors of the business. During his time, he worked with both local buyers and investors, regional businesses as well as national tenants. With his experience, Derek has a well-rounded background and education in the commercial real estate business. He continues to expand his current client base giving him a jump start in leading the multifamily division. His experience and understanding of investment sales in the multifamily sector combined with local market knowledge will prove to be critical for investors looking for a valuable resource. Derek earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Salve Regina University. He currently lives in North Providence with his wife and two sons.
