Dean Zang is an Executive Managing Director Investments and specializes in the acquisition and disposition of retail shopping centers in the Mid-Atlantic region and net-leased investments throughout the country. He joined the National Retail Group in 2003 and the following year partnered with Mark Taylor to form the Taylor-Zang Group. In 2007, the team expanded to the Washington, D.C.-Baltimore Corridor and subsequently spun off from its Philadelphia partners in 2017. Dean has successfully brokered the sale of over $4 billion in retail properties in 37 states across the country and leads the retail team based in Baltimore and Washington, D.C. He has established himself as one of the top retail agents in the firm, consistently ranking in the Top 30. Notable assignments include the disposition of a 17 property leasehold portfolio for Coventry Real Estate Advisors and DDR, the sale of the infamous Watergate shops and parking in Washington, D.C for Greenfield and Penzance, and multiple sale leaseback assignments for Wawa Corporation.
