Dean Wilkens

Dean Wilkens, Vice President of Tanglewood Property Group, joined the firm in 1987 and heads the Leasing Division for the company. He provides project leasing, lease negotiation and assists the Tanglewood team in market studies for acquisitions. During Dean’s 36-year tenure, he negotiated leases with Schlumberger, JP Morgan Chase, Westlake Chemical, MCI, Verizon, British Gas, Southern Union, Duke Energy, CMS Energy and Panhandle Energy. Prior to joining Tanglewood, Dean worked at Coldwell Banker (CB), Fuller Commercial Realty, and the Horne Company. He has held a real estate license since 1981 has an active Texas Broker License and is a designated Realtor by the Houston Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. Dean holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance from the University of Houston. He is a native Houstonian, married and has one son. He enjoys time with family and friends out on the lakes and rivers of Texas, playing golf and riding his Harley.
