David Zipparo

David is a brokerage associate with the Capital Market Group in Avison Young’s Raleigh office. He participates in all aspects of the disposition and acquisition process for the team’s clients including financial institutions, pension funds, REIT’s and private investors. David brings a unique skill set to the team, having completed numerous commercial real estate lease transactions, representing clients on both the landlord and tenant side. His previous experience in the finance and accounting industry gives the team the ability to provide clients a deep understanding of the components of value and competitive position in the marketplace. Prior to joining Avison Young, David was a leasing and investment sales associate with a commercial real estate firm in Westport, CT. While there he secured tenants and negotiated leases representing more than 225,000 sf in retail and industrial space. David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Western Connecticut State University and is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina.
