David E. Williams is a graduate of North Georgia College with a BS degree in Criminal Justice. Upon graduation and commissioning as a Second Lieutenant, David served in the US Army as a Platoon Leader, Company Commander, and in Battalion and Brigade Level Staff Officer positions in the 82nd Airborne Division, 18th Airborne Corps, and the 2nd Infantry Division in the Republic of South Korea. He is a recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Achievement Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Senior Parachutist Badge. Since separating from the service, he has worked in progressive levels of leadership with three international corporations, Equifax, IBM Global Services, and InterContinental Hotels Group where he specialized in developing business and client relationships. David has been a commercial real estate agent for over fourteen years. He specializes in office/warehouse, office, and land representing both buyers and sellers as well as in the listing, leasing, and purchasing of commercial properties. As a top producer, David serves on the Agent Leadership Council for the Keller Williams North Gwinnett Office. Outside of his professional career, David is actively involved in his community as a past president of the Kiwanis Club of North Gwinnett and is a recipient of the George F. Hixson Award. He is a past chairman of the University of North Georgia Corps of Cadets Advisory Council, a board member of the North Georgia Corps of Cadets Association, has taught Sunday school, and serves as a deacon in his church. David is the founder of the annual Kiwanis Club of North Gwinnett Father Daughter Dance, raising over $100,000 for collegiate scholarships for local area high school seniors since the dance’s creation in 2009. Lastly, in 2017, the Amway Corporation awarded him with their HERO Award for Generosity. David has been married to his wife, Brenda, for 30 years and they have two children, Nathan, who attends Georgia Tech and Tatum who is a graduate of Piedmont College in Demorest. He and his family reside in Sugar Hill where he is actively involved in giving back to their community.
