David Reaves is the Managing Broker of Reaves Real Estate Professionals. He has more than 20 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate including investment analysis, tenant representation, owner services, and property management. David is known throughout the Real Estate Industry for being competitive, tireless and relationship driven. As Managing Broker of Reaves Real Estate Professionals David is responsible for overseeing daily operations, recruiting experienced agents, and implementing the firms go to market strategy. David enjoys working directly with select clients that can benefit from his experience in the Southeastern United States and Florida markets. His clients include professional athletes, well known celebrities, and international business executives. Prior to his career in real estate, David was a successful division 1 football coach for over 10 years. His resume includes stints at IMG Academy, University of South Carolina, University of Tennessee, and University of South Florida. This experience has provided David with a personal understanding of the challenges athletes and executives face when having to relocate their families. He has worked to ensure that clients of Reaves Real Professionals are provided with the knowledge, tools, and resources to make relocation easier. A native of Tampa, Florida, Reaves was a standout quarterback at Spring Valley High School in Columbia, South Carolina, graduating in 1997. He went on to become team captain and a three-year starter at quarterback for Appalachian State, where he helped lead the Mountaineers to three straight national playoff berths. David is fortunate to have a number of mentors that helped to shape his leadership style including College Football Legend Steve Spurrier and former Notre Dame Head Coach Lou Holtz. David and his wife, Brooke, have two sons, Maddox and Ryder. His father, John, was an All-American quarterback at Florida and later played 11 seasons in the NFL.
