David Perlleshi is a leader of Franklin Street’s National Self-Storage Investment Sales Platform, which provides comprehensive real estate solutions for owners and investors of self-storage assets located throughout the country. With over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate and an extensive background in the self-storage field, he expertly guides clients through every stage of the investment cycle, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, site selection and asset valuation. Additionally, Mr. Perlleshi and his team collaborate with Franklin Street’s insurance, capital advisory, leasing and management professionals to provide the full scope of real estate services for clients in the self-storage industry. Mr. Perlleshi joined Franklin Street in 2022 with partner Frank DeSalvo. The pair began working together in 2017 at New York-based Houston Street Capital, where they specialized in self-storage acquisitions and development throughout the Southeast. They come most recently from Sands Investment Group, where they expanded their expertise on a national scale and consistently ranked as top producers. Mr. Perlleshi also brings valuable insight from the owner/developer side of the industry, having previously worked with Avesta Homes, a vertically integrated multifamily real estate company, handling acquisitions, property management, construction management and portfolio management
