David Levinson

David Levinson is a Senior Vice President—Brokerage at The Retail Connection, L.P., with a specialty in shopping center project leasing. His expertise includes the leasing of strip centers, neighborhood centers and community shopping centers. Levinson specializes in anchor and small shop centers, having marketed such notable developments as The Highlands of Flower Mound and the Centre at Preston Ridge in Frisco, a 1,000,000 square foot center which he leased to 100% occupancy. In addition, Levinson currently represents numerous property owners and developers including Rreef, Equity One, Hunt Properties, Greenway Investment Co., Retail Plazas, Inc. and Margaux Development, Co. In the past he has leased properties on behalf of Cencor Realty and Direct Development Corporation, just to name a few. Prior to joining The Retail Connection, Levinson served as Senior Vice President at The Weitzman Group, where he began as an Associate in 1990. David has specialized in the leasing of anchor and small shop retail centers for over 18 years. Levinson began his real estate career in 1986 with another retail real estate firm, First Newport Realty. Prior to his real estate career, Levinson started his professional life in 1978 in the hospitality industry with Lowes Anatole hotel in Dallas, Texas. Levinson is a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and the International Council of Shopping Centers. In addition, Levinson is a graduate of Kent State University in Kent, Ohio where he received a business degree.
