David has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, property management, and consulting, with a diverse background that spans multiple industries. Since 1996, he has managed the day-to-day operations of a 136,408 square foot, historic mixed-use office building in downtown Denver on behalf of a family-owned real estate company. The 108-year-old building, home to more than 80 tenants ranging from small office operators to national retail chains, requires David’s oversight in tenant relations, staffing, accounting, vendor negotiations, and marketing. In addition to his role at 910 Associates, David has been providing property management consulting and bookkeeping services through his own firm, David L. Kaufman LLC, where he specializes in Yardi Professional and Genesis software for clients in the Denver area. Earlier in his career, David worked at The Robert L. Naiman Company, LLC, where he was responsible for managing the accounting functions for over thirty commercial retail sites, handling everything from accounts payable and receivable to investor distributions and operating expense reconciliations. David’s experience also includes a six-year tenure as a Business Analyst and Team Leader with American Management Systems, Inc., where he gained valuable insight into business operations across several international locations. With his comprehensive expertise in real estate operations, financial management, and consulting, David brings a wealth of knowledge to every project he undertakes.
