David Ashford

David’s mission is to serve his clients to the best of his ability by finding the best tenants for their retail properties to maximize their investment’s cash flow and overall experience of the asset. Prior to joining Retail Specialists, David was a Retail Landlord Representative in Landlord Services for The Shopping Center Group in Birmingham. He previously worked at Southpace Properties for nearly two decades as the Director of Retail. David has his CCIM designation and sits on the CCIM board of directors for the Alabama Chapter. He received the Birmingham Business Journal’s Top 40 under 40 and has been named a Power Broker by Costar numerous times. A native of Birmingham, David received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Auburn University. He and his wife reside in Birmingham with their four boys.
