Danny Handweiler

Danny Handweiler is Senior Managing Director of Raven Property Advisors. His career began in 2007 at Marcus & Millichap in his hometown of Southern California – working in Newport Beach and West Los Angeles. During the first several years of his career, he focused on distressed asset sales: sourcing, marketing, and selling bank-owned commercial properties for a variety of lenders. In 2010, Danny decided to pursue a life long dream of moving to New York City, where he would broaden his knowledge of commercial real estate investing and valuation by pursuing a MS in Real Estate Finance from NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. The location had changed, but the passion for real estate had not. Upon graduating from NYU in 2012, Danny took a job with the New York Multifamily team of Marcus and Millichap, transitioning his specialization to mixed-use and multifamily buildings in Manhattan. Over the past decade, Danny was responsible for the sale of approximately 65 buildings throughout New York City, with an aggregate dollar value of over $700M. Notable transactions have been featured in such publications as the Real Deal, Commercial Observer, and New York Times. Past clients include private owners, foreign investors, institutional equity, and non-profit organizations. Danny grew up in Southern California and currently resides in Brooklyn. He graduated with a BA in English from the University of Southern California and a Masters of Real Estate from NYU.
