Before joining Newmark, Dan Samulski enjoyed a long career at CBRE and Grubb and Ellis in Newport Beach, CA. Prior to getting into commercial real estate, he worked in advertising sales with the Press Telegram newspaper in Long Beach, CA for 12 years. His retail business experience ranges from national and independent retailers and property owners to major national companies such as Kimco Realty, Vestar, Segerstrom, Castle and Cooke, Met Life and Pimco to name a few. Some of his more significant assignments include the 1 million square foot Crossings at Corona, 825,000 sf Chino Spectrum Towne Center, 1.1 million square foot Buena Park Mall, and over 1 million square feet of the Towngate properties in Moreno Valley. Equally important yet smaller transactions include the 100,000 sf Highland Village shopping center in Fontana (new development coming soon), 100,000 sf Sycamore Hills in Claremont/Upland (new development coming soon), Mesa Verde Shopping Center in Costa Mesa and many more. He specializes in Landlord representation and due to his varied and extensive background, he is uniquely qualified to represent his clients' best interests. When not working he enjoys music, hiking, golf, collecting wine (cab!), and is a huge team sports fan. His favorite teams include: Buffalo Bills, LA Rams, LA Dodgers, LA Kings, Buffalo Sabres and UCLA. Dan Samulski was born in Buffalo, NY and went to Canisius College in Buffalo NY then moved to Southern California permanently in 1987.
