Dan Freeland

Dan has been active in the commercial real estate market since 2011. He joined Gershman Commercial Real Estate in 2014 and focuses on the leasing and sales of office properties throughout Metro St. Louis. During his time at Gershman, Dan has been involved in office transactions totaling more than $300 Million in value and over 1M square feet. He has been an integral part of the leasing team on a three building, 165,000 square feet office portfolio in Clayton, increasing the occupancy rate from 67% to over 90% in the matter of 18 months. Dan continues to focus in the St. Louis office market spending time on both landlord and tenant representation, property disposition and office sales. Prior to Gershman Commercial, Dan was a Transaction Manager at Cassidy Turley (now Cushman & Wakefield), where he completed over 150 transactions and was responsible for relocating, renewing, terminating and renegotiating Weight Watchers locations. In addition to being responsible for negotiating and executing retail leases, he also managed the construction progress with new build-outs.
