Craig Knox

Craig Knox is Vice Chairman in Savills San Diego office and serves as the West region co-leader of the firm’s Life Sciences practice. Craig provides clients with exceptional insight and staunch advocacy that is strengthened by his deep involvement in the local business community and knowledge of product and business development. As a San Diego native and an experienced advisor who has represented hundreds of life science companies, he brings a depth of knowledge of the local market that is applied to companies’ real estate objectives and portfolios. Prior to joining Savills, Craig was the executive vice president for Hughes Marino’s HM Science division. He led numerous transactions that were strengthened through Craig’s astute strategic planning, financial analysis and negotiation skills. Prior to entering commercial real estate, he began his career as a product design engineer and served as a senior manager for several public and venture-backed private companies in the San Diego and Bay area. Craig is dedicated to numerous charitable and community organizations, including serving on the boards of Magdalena Ecke YMCA, Grace Point Church, San Diego Venture Group, and EvoNexus. He has also provided support and resources to the UCSD Cancer Center and the Del Mar Schools Education Foundation.
