Cory Kooperman, CCIM has been with Newmark since 2009 but has been active in both leasing and sales of commercial space for over 22 years. She brings to her position experience in all areas of commercial real estate, including corporate services, investment sales and land assemblage and most notably office and healthcare, specializing in tenant and landlord representation. Ms. Kooperman’s clients range from large national corporate tenants to locally grown companies. Throughout her career, she has represented many leading companies such as Delve, Health Inventures, Intermedix, inVentiv Health, Manning & Napier Advisors, Nationwide Realty Investors, OhioHealth, Sequent, Skyline Exhibits and Smith Barney. When representing any client, Ms. Kooperman’s first objective is to create a real estate strategy that aligns with the client’s business objectives. Her extensive market knowledge, lease negotiating experience and financial analysis background are crucial skill sets that allow her to give practical advice to clients. She uses these core skills to assist clients by implementing strategic plans, seizing opportunities and maximizing leverage in the marketplace. This consistent process results in reduced operating costs and meeting critical dates time and time again by her clients. Prior to joining Newmark, Ms. Kooperman worked at Equity, where she spearheaded the redevelopment of a 100-acre industrial site later named Grandview Yard. During her time at Equity, she was responsible for assembling the 100-acre site and leasing the first phase of Grandview Yard, totaling 80,000 square feet. Her efforts resulted in transactional volume in excess of $35 million earning her top producer recognition within the firm. Ms. Kooperman began her career in 2001 at CBRE, as a member of a corporate services team specializing in office tenant representation. She provided real estate solutions to national and local corporate clients in site selection, lease negotiations and financial analysis for alternative locations.
