Connor McCarthy

Leading Transwestern’s Retail Services group in Washington, DC, Connor McCarthy represents the leasing interests of institutional owners, national brands, and local retailers throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. A fourth-generation Washingtonian, Connor leverages deep market knowledge and strong partnerships within the brokerage community to expand Transwestern’s retail services capabilities and deliver greater value to clients and business partners. Before joining Transwestern, Connor served as leasing director at Miller Walker Retail Real Estate, where he was instrumental in leasing more than one million square feet of retail and restaurant space with an aggregate value of more than $85 million. He has worked with real estate owners, such as Nuveen, Roseland, Columbia Property Trust and Beacon, and tenants like Tropical Smoothie Café, Barre 3, Pret a Manger and Duke’s Grocery, among other national and local brands. Prior to real estate, McCarthy served as Associate Director of Public Relations, Director of Alumni Relations, Major Gifts Officer, and Assistant Coach of the Varsity Lacrosse Team at his alma mater, Gonzaga College High School.
