Colin Brown knows the Triangle’s commercial real estate market like the back of his hand. A Raleigh native who has worked in commercial real estate since 1997, Colin has been involved in more than $350 million in leasing and sales during his career. He has a special knack for uncovering properties that are not on the market. A “bird dog” you might say. Colin prides himself on developing long-standing relationships with his clients and has a relentless determination to help them find the perfect location or tenant whether for lease or for sale/purchase. He, along with partner Brad Rice, established Covenant Commercial Realty in 2016. He previously led Brown Commercial Realty, assisting clients with a wide range of leasing and investment assignments. He has and will continue to work closely with landlords/tenants and buyers/sellers on simple and/or complex transactions involving the leasing of space or sale of office buildings, retail, industrial/flex and investment properties. Colin is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), a select group of the nation’s most knowledgeable, experienced and successful commercial real estate specialists. He is also a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the North Carolina Association of Realtors (NCAR), the Triangle Area Office Building Association (TRAOBA), and the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR). After graduating from the University of North Carolina with a business degree, he spent the first … years of his career working in banking, construction, and construction-related industries. His work took him as far as Saudi Arabia before he returned to home to his Raleigh roots in 1980. Colin spent the next 17+ years working with a trio of well-respected brick companies – Cherokee Brick, Custom Brick and Triangle Brick – before entering commercial real estate. He quickly established a reputation as a trusted real estate professional who could always be counted on to provide sound advice and candid feedback.
