Clay Durkin

Durkin Commercial Real Estate Advisors, LLC was founded by Clay Durkin in 2023. A licensed commercial broker in the Charlotte, North Carolina area since 2008, he is experienced and well-versed in all facets of CRE: Office, Retail, Investments, Industrial and Land. Before launching Durkin Commercial (Reg. NC DBA), Clay spent 15 years at another CRE firm in Charlotte. It was his prior experiences though working on development projects at an architecture firm that initially sparked his interest in brokerage. In 1992, he received a B.A. in Economics from Guilford College in Greensboro and then earned a degree in Advertising + Graphic Design while working in Charlotte. A native of Philadelphia, Clay has resided in Charlotte for close to thirty years and in his spare time he’s either in his backyard art studio working on vintage-signage projects, exercising or relaxing in the mountains with his family at Lake Lure.
