Christopher Shepherd

Chris Shepherd is an Executive Vice President and member of the Technology and Media Practice leadership group at CBRE. Since starting his career at CBRE in 2005, Chris has established himself as a market leader in representing Technology firms to create and execute their real estate strategies. He has negotiated some of the most notable and complicated transactions in the market on behalf of his clients ranging from venture-backed start-ups to publicly traded corporations. Chris' roster of global accounts includes Lumentum, Magic Leap, and A10 Networks. Chris is consistently a top performer in the Bay Area and nationally for CBRE, having been named to the Bay Area Platinum Producer list every year since 2012, a top 10 Silicon Valley producer since 2017 and in 2019, 2021, and 2022, was one of the top 200 Producers in the company. In 2022, Chris was the top producer in the Silicon Valley office and Top 5 in the Bay Area. Using CBRE’s unsurpassed and globally integrated platform, Chris routinely performs such services as strategic planning and budgeting, transaction management, financial analysis, and property disposition both locally and internationally. Chris' clients cite their respect and appreciation for his attention to detail, professionalism, honesty, and negotiation skills as reasons why they continue to use and recommend his services. Chris graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Santa Clara University. He is an active member of the community and St. Christopher Parish. Chris served on the advisory board of Cordevalle Golf Club from 2017-2022 and has been a volunteer/coach for the First Tee of Silicon Valley.
