Charles Davis is an Industrial Specialist with Cushman & Wakefield. Over the past 35 years, Charlie has gained extensive experience in all facets of commercial real estate sales and leasing; including office, industrial and land. A skilled negotiator on behalf of landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers of real estate, Charlie has been involved in the sale or lease of more than 1 million square feet of commercial buildings and 11,000 acres of land. In the last three years, he has completed 52 transactions totaling $69 million. Large national corporations, city and county governments, and local companies have depended on Charlie’s abilities to accomplish their real estate goals. Since 2007, Charlie has further strengthened his experience representing public entities. He represented Salt Lake City Airports in the purchase of 11 properties, 390 acres and 104,000 square feet of buildings for its future fourth runway. In 2009 and 2010 Charlie represented Salt Lake City Corporation in the assemblage of three downtown properties for the Public Safety Complex site and the purchase of the final parcel needed for Salt Lake’s Regional Athletic/Soccer Complex. Most recently, Charlie has also represented L-3 Communications in the lease negotiations on four buildings totaling 142,000 square feet of office and industrial space. Prior to his real estate career, Charlie was in manufacturing and construction, with a four year tour at the University of Utah. He began his real estate career in 1979, and then began his commercial real estate career with Grubb and Ellis in 1981.
