From helping to find the right, premier location for a new company headquarters, to advocating for clients at city planning board meetings, to engaging in the building design process to help ensure the space would be successful for a client’s intended use, Charlie is a capable facilitator with a meticulous attention to detail. He excels at problem solving and monitoring the many pieces that need to come together in a transaction. He also truly enjoys helping people; by always putting his clients’ needs first, he has been able to form many long-term partnerships. “I like getting a big view of the market – the vacancy rates, total supply, the absorption rates – so I can see the broad market trends. You’ve got to know your market and you’ve got to listen so you can ascertain a client’s needs.” Charlie is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Tuck School of Business (M.B.A.). Charlie joined The Dunham Group in 1986 after three years as a corporate banking officer with Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco, California. A lover of art and architecture, Charlie often participates in design discussions with his clients. In his free time, Charlie can frequently be found competing in a tennis tournament or ski race, or enjoying The New Yorker magazine.
