Carol Plowman

Carol Plowman, president and sole owner of Carol D. Plowman, Inc., is a Founding Principal of Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services - Ontario, Inc. This year Lee & Associates will celebrate its 25th year and is the largest commercial real estate company in the 11 western states, with 20 offices located in Northern & Southern California, Nevada, and Arizona. Lee & Associates is also proud to announce the recent opening of our newest office in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Plowman began her career in 1983 with the Orange office of Lee & Associates, where she was made a Principal in 1985. She was the first woman to achieve this status in the firm. In 1987, she made her most critical decision regarding career path. Along with four of her colleagues, she committed to relocate to the Inland Empire to assist in founding the Ontario office of Lee & Associates. Ms. Plowman was also an organizing principal of the Lee & Associates office in Riverside, which opened in 1989. Ms. Plowman has focused her efforts on the development of office/retail/hospitality on commercially zoned land within a three-mile radius of the Ontario Airport. Within that radius, in the past three years Ms. Plowman has been directly involved in over 1,500,000 square feet of office/retail/hospitality development. She has sold the land and assisted in entitling nine of the most recent hotel developments as well as in the development of over 125 acres of land in the surrounding area of the Ontario Mills Mall. In 2003 Southern California Real Estate Magazine honored Ms. Plowman, as one of the most influential women in commercial real estate and a leading expert on the Inland Empire. In addition to her busy career, Ms. Plowman is actively involved with various philanthropic organizations. Since 1993, Ms. Plowman has been a supporter of Brandy’s Friends, the only outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center for teenagers in South Orange County, as well as KidCare International, a humanitarian aid organization that feeds hungry children around the world. She is also a financial supporter of the YMCA organization in Rancho Cucamonga. Despite working on multi-million dollar transactions and being one of the leading brokers in the area, she still makes time for much smaller clients. Ms. Plowman is known for her commitment and loyalty and providing opportunities that carefully consider all parties involved, and she continues to represent the clients that she began her Inland Empire career with in 1987. Ms. Plowman's extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry was preceded by a fifteen-year management, marketing and finance career with Avis Leasing Corporation. Ms. Plowman resides in Rancho Cucamonga, has been married for nineteen years, and is the proud parent of five children and sixteen grandchildren. She is actively involved with the planned growth of both the City of Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga and is continually refining and expanding her abilities to be of valued service to the community, her extensive clientele and colleagues.
