Carlos Rivas

Carlos Rivas specializes in representation of owners and developers of retail properties. He has handled the sale of numerous properties including ground-up development as well as repositioning and rehabilitation of existing buildings and shopping centers. As a landlord representative Mr. Rivas has extensive experience in lease negotiations with national, regional and local tenants. Additionally, he represents Trusts with large real estate holdings dealing with sales, leasing, rehabilitation and repositioning of industrial and office properties. Mr. Rivas has more than 45 years in the real estate business and been licensed as a broker since 1979. He has occupied the positions of owner, sales manager and sales trainer over several years. He has served his community on various Boards including Junior Achievement, Burbank Housing Development Corporation, a low income housing developer, where he instituted a property management division to manage more than 1,100 units. Mr. Rivas is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
