Bruce Harbour has been in commercial real estate since 1969. The first 27 years of his career were with the Henry S. Miller Company, acquired in 1984 by Grubb & Ellis. He was a Senior Marketing Consultant and Head of the Dallas Land Division for Grubb & Ellis, specializing in the brokerage of investment and development land as well as the formation of land joint ventures/limited partnerships. In 1996, Mr. Harbour brought his expertise in brokering land, the formation of partnerships, and the completion of predevelopment requirements for his land partnerships to the Joe Foster Company. Following are some of the highlights of his career: Assembled large tracts of land for major mixed use, commercial, multi-family and single family development projects. Assisted Fortune 500 Companies in identifying and purchasing sites for major manufacturing facilities. Raised capital for the formation of approximately 50 joint ventures and limited partnerships to acquire major tracts of land in the Metroplex for investment and/or development. Assisted developers with site selections for the development of built-to-suit projects. Brokered in excess of $200 million in tax-loss related transactions to Canadian individuals and corporations. Participated in the sale of real estate totaling in excess of $300,000,000. Mr. Harbour holds a BBA degree in Banking and Finance from Baylor University. He is a member of numerous professional organizations including the Greater Dallas Association of Realtors, North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Additionally Bruce Harbour is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), President of the North Texas Land Council, and is a licensed member of the National Association of Securities Dealers. Prior achievements include Co-Chairman of the National Land Council of Grubb & Ellis, Charter Member of the Chairman's Council of Henry S. Miller Company, the 1984 recipient of the Henry S. Miller, Sr. Award for outstanding professional and community service. Mr. Harbour has been active in family and youth oriented organizations, including positions of leadership in the Park Cities YMCA, Circle 10 Council/Troop 82 of the Boy Scouts of America and Camp John Marc. In addition, he has made a significant commitment to civic and professional groups, including The 500, Inc., the major source of funding for the cultural arts of Dallas.
