Brinn Talbot

Born in Lafayette, California, Brinn Talbot grew up spending summers in the Sierra and eventually moved to North Lake Tahoe full time in 1991. Talbot lives in Truckee with her two daughters, Sophia and Katarina, her husband Jim and their nine animals. Talbot’s family takes full advantage of the mountain lifestyle in Truckee, enjoying skiing, horse-back riding, hiking, dirt-biking, golfing, and camping while participating in many volunteer efforts community-wide. Brinn Talbot holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno. Following college, Talbot created a prosperous career in marketing and public relations. Brinn Talbot continues to exemplify the definition of a true professional. For over 25 years, she owned the award-winning Switchback public relations firm that focused on luxury lifestyle. Today, Brinn continues to share her time, talent, and treasured creative mindset with her real estate clients throughout the West. Through the course of her life, Brinn has donated countless hours to support the community of Truckee that she has called ‘home’ for over 30 years. Knowing the region’s micro-climates, communities, and business trends, Brinn integrates this local insight with her sophisticated marketing intellect and crystal-clear communication skills. After opening and managing her marketing firm for over 15 years, Talbot spearheaded corporate public relations efforts for Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty, Chase Realty and the Town of Truckee. While working in that capacity Talbot sparked an interest in real estate, leading her to pursue a career as a licensed realtor. Talbot specializes in residential and commercial real estate in both California and Nevada and is known for taking clients from start to finish no matter how challenging a transaction might be. Whether Brinn is holding the hand of a first-time buyer or relentlessly negotiating a complicated transaction on behalf of a significant investor, she deeply values and respects each opportunity to achieve her clients’ goals.
