Brian Wood
Born and raised in Jefferson County, IL, the area is now home to Brian since returning to Mt. Vernon in 2007. The previous 17 years in California (8 years in San Francisco and 9 years in San Diego) provided Brian with training and education during his careers in investment banking, personal business management, and interior design that are relevant in so many ways to local real estate. The fast-paced, high-stakes, constant-pressure world of investment banking taught him the importance of focus and agility while navigating multiple transactions and differing personalities. Personal management was certainly a change of stress and pace but demanded self-motivation and flexibility. Lastly, interior design was exciting, creative, and customer service centric. Brian is happy to be back in a place called "home" and believes there is something inherently comforting in that word. That is one of the reasons he takes his role as a local real estate broker seriously; with heart, integrity and honesty, because he is helping people find "home". Clients today require information on-demand and that sometimes leads to misinformation being shared in a hurry. It remains his goal to always provide accurate and current data to his clients especially when delivering it quickly.
