Brian Sarath

Brian is an Executive Director in the New York Middle Market Investment Sales Group of Cushman & Wakefield. He focuses on Investment Sales, Development Sites, Joint Ventures, Ground Leases, and Note Sales in the New York Metropolitan Area, specializing throughout the Borough of Queens. Previously, he was the 2nd hire in Massey Knakal’s Queens office, which was the company’s first venture outside of Manhattan in 2000. In 2015, Cushman & Wakefield acquired Massey Knakal, New York City’s #1 Building Sales firm for 18 consecutive years. In 2022, Brian started and oversees “Team Sarath” which includes a Team Operations Manager, Two Additional Veteran Sales Brokers, Social Media & Marketing Director, Research Analyst, and Senior Associate. To date, Team Sarath has executed more than 330 transactions with an aggregate value of over $1.5 Billion. Brian has been a consistent source for real estate publications including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Real Estate Weekly, The Real Deal, Crain’s, Queens Tribune and the Queens Courier.
